Pamela Zimmerman, FASLA, PLA is a landscape architect with Milwaukee Public Schools Department of Recreation and Community Services. She dedicates herself to addressing social equity and resilience through design. Pam believes community engagement is critical to successful, equitable park planning; she includes neighbors and stakeholders in decision-making and implementation of projects that affect their neighborhoods. Pam brings over 25 years of experience in public practice since her graduation from the University of Wisconsin. Her passion for creating parks and preserving open spaces is acknowledged with numerous awards. Pam is deeply committed to her profession, community, and is an active volunteer.
