Alan Maskin is a principal / owner of Olson Kundig, where he leads an interdisciplinary team of architects, designers, visual artists and researchers pursuing unconventional challenges in public places. Maskin has won several international design competitions, including the Bob Dylan Center opening in May 2022 and ANOHA at the Jewish Museum Berlin. His portfolio includes museums, installations, exhibits, visitor-based destinations and urban park projects, such as a master plan and renovation of the Bay Area Discovery Museum; Recompose Seattle, a burial alternative; and The Century Project at the Space Needle, which received a 2022 AIA National Architecture Honor Award.
