Sonya Gimon is a landscape designer with a special interest in sustainable environmental systems, community engagement and wildlife conservation. Sonya is a Founding Member of WIP Collaborative, a shared feminist practice of independent design professionals working in the public realm. She is also a founder of 3f.wild, a design practice based in New York and Montana/Wyoming regions.
She is a 2022 NYFA/NYSCA Fellow in the category of Architecture, Environmental Structures and Design. Sonya is currently teaching at Montana State University in Bozeman, MT. She received an MS in Sustainable Environmental Systems from Pratt Institute, New York.
