Designer
CMG Landscape Architecture
El Cerrito, California
Kate has focused early in her career on climate-adaptive design and planning in the public realm. At CMG she is a designer supporting the San Francisco Waterfront Resilience Program, where she collaborates with the project team, public agencies, and SF communities in resiliency planning for 7.5 miles of the city's waterfront. She contributes analysis and project support for Climate Positive Design, and believes in the potential of our collective work to draw down atmospheric carbon. Her background in environmental art and soil labs frames landscape architecture for her as a creative practice at the intersection of ecological and social knowledge.
