The COVID-19 pandemic has boldly exposed the public’s desire for streets to function as not only car movement, but also as vital public space. This expert panel will highlight how auto-dominated streets can quickly evolve into new pedestrian spaces designed for safe outdoor gathering, immediate economic rejuvenation, and response to climate change.
