Elise Davis-McFarland is a pediatric speech-language pathologist with clinical expertise in multicultural communication issues in diverse populations. Her career has included teaching, research in pediatric HIV/AIDS, administration and association governance. She has served on various ASHA committees and boards, and has been a reviewer for ASHA’s Language, Speech, and Hearing Services in Schools. She served as a board member and chair of NBASLH. Dr. Davis-McFarland is an ASHA Fellow and former president of ASHA.
