Portland State University
Giselle is a post-bacc student in the Speech and Hearing Sciences department. Her experiences and Mexican American culture are represented in the work she does. After working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities for three years, she was inspired to learn more about language, speech, and communication through a culturally responsive lens. Her goal is to become a bilingual speech pathologist that provides equitable services to a diverse population.
