Stephanie McMillen, PhD, CCC-SLP, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at Syracuse University. Her research explores spoken and written language in children across diverse populations with the aim of improving culturally responsive practices. Specifically, her goal includes identifying measures that clinicians can use for the early identification of DLD and/or dyslexia in dual language learners.
