Soren Y. Lowell obtained her Ph.D. in Speech and Hearing Sciences from the University of Arizona. She is a Professor at Syracuse University, and has extensive clinical experience. Her expertise and research areas address the physiology, differential diagnosis, and treatment efficacy of voice and swallowing disorders. She also has expertise in multicultural issues and cultural competency, and is involved in institutional and national diversity and inclusion efforts.
