Suma Suswaram, PhD, is a Postdoctoral Associate in the department of Psychological and Brain Sciences at Boston University. Her research interests include studying socio-cultural factors of development in children with autism spectrum disorders, as well as barriers to early access to treatment of autism in underserved communities. Additionally, she is interested in issues of cultural competence for speech-language pathologists and pre-professional in training.
