Lauren Bislick, CCC-SLP, CBIS, is an assistant professor in the School of Communication Sciences and Disorders at the University of Central Florida and the director of the Aphasia and Related Conditions (ARC) Research Lab. Her research focuses on the understanding, diagnosis, and treatment of acquired apraxia of speech and aphasia. She is also interested in variables that impact outcomes post stroke, such as mind-body practices and friendship.
