Julie Wambaugh

Julie Wambaugh, Ph.D., CCC/SLP is Professor in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at the University of Utah. She has studied the treatment of apraxia of speech (AOS) for more than 25 years. She and her colleagues have developed and tested several treatments for verbal production deficits in AOS and aphasia. She is a former president of the Academy of Neurologic Disorders and Sciences, VA Research Career Scientist, and is an ASHA Fellow.
