Katelyn J. Kotlarek, PhD, CCC-SLP is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Communication Disorders at the University of Wyoming. Her research aims to improve speech and surgical outcomes for individuals with craniofacial differences. She is an active member of ASHA SIG 5 and the American Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Association.

Grant funds- My training has been funded by NIDCR (F31DE027878; PI: Kotlarek), and I am a 2020 recipient of the ASHA Advancing Academic-Research Careers (AARC) Award. Research proposals I submitted have been funded by NIGMS (P20GM103432; PI: Seville). I received a research stipend from the University of Washington WWAMI program for supervising a medical student in 2021. ASHA registration waived- I am a presenter of an invited session for 2022, and thus, my registration will be waived.
