I am a Professor at the School of Nursing at UNC-Chapel Hill. My research focuses on the development of early oral feeding in typically developing and vulnerable children. I co-developed the Early Feeding Skills tool; this tool is used internationally to support the clinical care of infants who are vulnerable to developing chronic feeding disorders. I co-founded the Feeding Flock research team focused on management and prevention of feeding problems of infants and young children.
