Dr. Katherine Smith is a speech therapist and audiologist by training. She completed her Masters in Early Childhood Intervention and her PhD in Alternative and Augmentative Communication. She has a special interest in the parent-professional relationship and parental engagement in rehabilitation interventions. She is currently a post doctoral fellow at the Centre for AAC, University of Pretoria.
