I am a lecturer in the Discipline of Speech-Language Therapy at the University Of KwaZulu-Natal in South Africa. I teach and supervise clinics in the area of Acquired Communication Disorders & Dysphagia. My research interest is in Caregiver-Professional Collaboration for Sustainable Intervention; Health literacy, Mental Health and Health promotion in the areas of acquired communication disorders & dysphagia in adults & Early Childhood intervention - working with diverse populations living in low resource contexts; and Health Professions Education
