Dr. Peredo's research focuses on Latinx families, particularly on parenting and the language development of Spanish-speaking and bilingual children. She is also interested in how to co-construct interventions to make them linguistically and culturally relevant for the population they are intended to serve. Dr. Peredo has led three studies of naturalistic language intervention for Spanish-speaking families and their children with language delays.
