Amanda Haverfield is a 2nd year speech-language pathology student at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. She is a former educator and aspiring speech language pathologist. Through six years of being a special education teacher, partnering with families and in collaboration with other related service providers, she has seen the impact communication plays in the lives of those with disabilities. She strives to be a voice as she help those find their voice.
