I am Professor of Communication Science and Disorders, Otolaryngology and Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Pittsburgh where I see patients and train SLP Master’s students in the UPMC hospitals, and teach graduate courses. I am a Board-Certified Specialist in Swallowing Disorders, and a former member of the ABSSD, and an ASHA Fellow. I conduct research in the UPMC Medical Center. I am funded by NIH to investigate noninvasive dysphagia screening instrumentation.
