Dr. Brian A. Cheslik, assistant professor and program director for the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley ASL Interpreting Bachelor's Program. Dr. Cheslik holds a bachelor's degree in English Literature from Gallaudet University, a master’s in Deaf studies & Deaf education from Lamar University, and has a doctorate in Deaf studies & Deaf education from Lamar University ’21. His current research interests include ASL, Interpreting, Deaf Studies Deaf education, theatre education, and human sexuality.
