I am a doctoral student at UNC Chapel Hill where I serve as a research assistant for the Center for Literacy and Disability Studies and for a HRSA grant team working to build family navigation systems. I am returning to school after decades in early intervention. I co-founded ReadENC, a community literacy coalition, which compelled me to seek greater understanding about emergent literacy policy and practice.
