Emilia received her B.A in Speech-Language Pathology at CSULB and M.S in Speech-Language Pathology at the University of Utah. Emilia completed a masters-level thesis regarding speech intelligibility in Acquired Apraxia of Speech. Emilia completed her clinical fellowship at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in the Stroke Cognitive Outcomes and Recovery (S.C.O.R.E.) Lab. Emilia participates across an array of studies related to language recovery as well as novel treatments for aphasia and Primary Progressive Aphasia.
