Dr. Spencer is an associate professor at the Rightpath Research & Innovation Center at University of South Florida. She is a dedicated research who values interprofessional collaborations and clinical practice research partnerships. Dr. Spencer is the chair of ASHA's committee on Clinical Practice Research, Implementation Science, and Evidence-based Practice. She is also on the Journals Board and an editorial board member of LSHSS. Her research focuses on the prevention of reading comprehension problems among vulnerable students.
