Lesley Edwards-Gaither, Ph.D., CCC-SLP, received her Ph.D. from Howard University, Washington DC, and is an Assistant Professor at Metropolitan State University-Denver. Her areas of research include the intersections of culture, communication, and technology. Over her 20-year career, she has worked for the Department of Defense Schools Europe and as a Senior Clinical Consultant for a telepractice startup. She recently co-authored the textbook, Telepractice: A Clinical Guide for Speech-Language Pathologists with Melissa Jakubowitz.
