Prof Harsha Kathard is research director of the Inclusive Practices Africa Research Unit at University of Cape Town. She holds a professional qualification in speech-language therapy and audiology, a Masters degree in Speech-language Pathology and doctoral degree in Education. She supervised masters and PhD students across disciplines of speech-language therapy, audiology, occupational disability studies and health sciences education. Her research, service and educational practice is informed by critical sciences and decoloniality.
