Tamara Freeman-Nichols, Ph.D., CCC-SLP is a school-based SLP and Speech-Language Hearing Association of Virginia (SHAV) Fellow. She has worked throughout the Hampton Roads area as a school-based SLP, Distance Learning Coordinator, and faculty member at Hampton University where she served as the Coordinator of the Graduate Program in CSAD. Dr. Freeman-Nichols promotes the professions through service, mentorship, and advocacy. Her research focuses on the efficacy of personnel-preparation, professional development and cultural inclusivity.
