Dr. Bridget Walsh is a licensed speech-language pathologist, Assistant Professor of Communicative Sciences and Disorders, and Director of the Developmental Speech Laboratory at Michigan State University. She researches the behavioral and physiological bases of childhood stuttering. Her research uses a comprehensive, multilevel approach to map the development of neurological, behavioral, and experiential factors to learn how they unfold over time and contribute to different stuttering outcomes in individual children—persistence or recovery.
