Marika King's research aims to understand, facilitate, and improve communication among children and adults who use augmentative and alternative communication modalities (AAC) as well as people who are dual-language learners or multilingual speakers. These two areas of research, frequently overlap and highlight the dynamic multimodal and multilingual aspects of human communication.
