Lauren M. Cycyk, PhD is a certified speech-language pathologist who has served Spanish-speaking families in medical and educational settings in the United States and Mexico. She is faculty in the Communication Disorders and Sciences program at the University of Oregon where her research focuses on understanding dual language development and disorders, developing culturally and linguistically responsive early language assessments and interventions, and equity in early intervention and early childhood special education settings. She speaks Spanish.
