Youkyung Bae is associate professor in the Department of Speech and Hearing Science at the Ohio State University (OSU) and director of the Voice and Resonance Laboratory. She studies the anatomic, physiologic, and acoustic aspects of normal and disordered velopharyngeal mechanisms and their perceptual consequences.
