David McNaughton, Ph.D. is a Professor in the Special Education program at Penn State University. He teaches classes on AAC, grant writing, and literacy instruction. He is a Co-Leader of the Training and Dissemination Team for the RERC on AAC. His research interests include literacy instruction for individuals who require AAC, the development of vocational opportunities for individuals with severe disabilities, and the effective use of web-based instructional materials to support pre-service and in-service instruction.
