Pennsylvania State University
Savanna is currently pursuing her PhD in Communication Sciences and Disorders at the Pennsylvania State University, specializing in the area of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). Her research interests focus on supporting individuals with complex communication needs and multiple disabilities to efficiently and effectively utilize AAC. Additional interests include the implementation of AAC in low-resource areas, such as Sub-Saharan Africa, and the provision of interventions for AAC within inpatient medical settings.
