This session is developed by, and presenters invited by, Business and Practice Management: Speech-Language Pathology. This 2-part invited session will include private practice owners and a Certified Public Accountant. Presenters will engage in a moderated discussion to address the basics of starting a private practice and strategies for growing a practice while remaining resilient during challenging times. Part 1 topics include forming entities, policies, processes, procedures and financial considerations. Part 2 topics include marketing and branding, increasing referral sources, alternate business models, and planning for the future. Attendees will have the opportunity to have their questions answered and interact with presenters.
