2109V - Ethical Considerations in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology Practice: Blurred Lines (Ethics)

The extensive, complex scopes of practice in audiology and speech-language pathology as well as practice constraints such as those related to the COVID-19 public health emergency have created an environment in which more challenging decision-making is required of professionals. As a result, there is a need for practitioners to obtain practical knowledge and skills about ethical, legal, and regulatory standards and how to apply that information when confronted with ethical dilemmas in the workplace. This session will provide information from both a professional association and a regulatory board perspective.
