This session is developed by, and presenters invited by, Hearing, Balance, Tinnitus – Assessment and Intervention: Pediatrics. Tinnitus and sound tolerance issues are as common in children and teens as they are in adults. This presentation is designed to address the assessment and management of tinnitus in children and teens. The impact of tinnitus on academic, social, and quality of life issues will be discussed. Defining and identifying sound tolerance issues will be discussed. Specific assessment considerations will be highlighted. Management options will be described. A number of cases will be included.
