1465L - Improving Auditory Processing and Associated Skills in Children and Adults Part One

This session is developed by, and presenters invited by, Neuroaudiology and Central Auditory Processing. This is Part One of a two-part session. This didactic session will provide an overview of novel testing and treatment options designed to reduce/resolve specific auditory processing deficits including binaural processing, temporal processing, auditory and phonemic discrimination/classification, phonological awareness, and others. The treatment approaches that will be discussed are appropriate for use by both SLPs and Audiologists, and span the service-delivery range from informal to formal and low-tech to high-tech approaches.
