The Sean Parker Institute for the Voice

Designed for SLPs who are new to working with voice patients, this course offers an overview of voice evaluation and treatment. Our interprofessional team of laryngologists and voice specialized SLPs will cover common vocal pathologies; different forms of instrumental assessment (laryngoscopy/videostroboscopy) and interpretation of exams; review key components of audio-perceptual assessment; treatment strategies/therapy techniques; and address the specific challenges of treating voice patients in a rehab/outpatient setting.

Learning Objectives:

Identify common voice disorders seen in outpatient settings
Analyze dysphonia symptoms observed on instrumental and audio perceptual assessments
Formulate a plan of care using appropriate treatment strategies
