What are practitioners learning about the association between language acquisition and socioeconomic status (SES)? This session will focus on the current literature on language acquisition and SES and challenge practitioners to reconsider the correlation between the two. Learn how to identify cultural-linguistic differences among children from diverse backgrounds and how to be sensitive to these families’ needs.
