This session will explore current research investigating barriers to accessing health care for Hispanic children that are deaf and hard of hearing from low income families. Background information will be provided and current methodology and results from an ongoing research study will be presented. The session will conclude with implications for healthcare providers with an emphasis on speech-language pathologists and audiologists.
