School-SLPs face a myriad of stressors that are setting specific. Some of the challenges we face require systemic change that involves free time and additional resources most school districts do not have. SLPs need support that is immediate and functional. This presentation suggests an evidence-based way to incorporate social support into a school SLP’s already busy schedule. This support group framework offers a functional space for conversations to be positive and productive. Implementation options for administrators, SLP supervisors, and school-SLPs are discussed.
