The results of a small RCT of caregiver-implemented EMT en Español will be discussed. EMT en Español is a naturalistic language intervention that has been culturally and linguistically adapted to be appropriate for Spanish-speaking latinx caregivers and their young children with language delays. A teach model coach review approach was utilized to teach caregivers in the intervention group to apply EMT en Español strategies with their child. The intervention was effective in increasing caregiver’s use of language support strategies in a generalization context and found to be effective for their children and culturally congruent by caregivers. The intervention was also effective in increasing children’s receptive vocabulary scores on a standardized measure.
