Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) engage in clinical decision making on a daily basis for all clients. It is important for SLPs to know and implement best practices, when available, to optimize treatment outcomes for the individual. This session reviews best practices in clinical decision making for autistic children, including indications for interprofessional practice. Additionally, survey data related to current practices and barriers to clinical decision making will be discussed.
