The advent of electronic health records for all health care settings brings challenges regarding the content and timing of clinical documentation. This course is intended to help clinicians understand and utilize the key components of optimal documentation under value-based payment models. In an effort to ensure patients receive quality care, clinicians will be able to support interprofessional teams toward better understanding of the value of collaborative, coordinated and well-documented care across clinicians and settings.
