Naomi Gronich, MD, is an assistant professor at Rappaport Faculty of Medicine, Technion - Israel Institute of Technology. Naomi had completed her MD degree at Tel- Aviv University, and an Internal Medicine residency. She then moved to the US for a 3-years fellowship in the NIH ClinPRAT program, under the mentorship of Dr. Darrell Abernethy, at the National Institute on Aging, in Baltimore, Maryland. Since 2008 she lives in Haifa, Israel, and works at the department of community medicine and epidemiology of Clalit, the largest HMO in Israel, to establish a personalized medicine service. She also conducts research in pharmacoepidemiology, and is an author of book chapters in pharmacogeriatrics and chemoprevention. She is an elected member of the Israeli Society of Clinical Pharmacology Steering Committee, and an appointed member of national level committees in Israel.
