Larisa H. Cavallari, Pharm.D., is an Associate Professor, Head of the Division of Translational Research, Director of the Center for Pharmacogenomics and Precision Medicine, and Director of the Precision Medicine Program at the University of Florida College of Pharmacy. She received her Pharm.D. degree from the University of Georgia, followed by a pharmacy practice residency at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Memphis, Tennessee and a fellowship in cardiovascular pharmacogenomics at the University of Florida. Her research involves discovery of genetic associations with drug response and their translation into clinical practice as well as examining outcomes with pharmacogenetic implementation.
