Mr. Keyur Parmar, M.S. (Pharm.), is currently a 5th year PhD candidate at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in the department of Pharmaceutical sciences. He earned his masters degree in pharmaceutical analysis at the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research in India and then worked as a senior research associate at Syngene International Limited in India for 3 years. His dissertation research focuses on developing a physiologically-based pharmacokinetic model for novel antituberculosis drug. Recently, he was a summer intern at Takeda's cell therapy and translational engine department where he worked on the development of a human PBPK-PD model to characterize the cellular kinetics and pharmacodynamics of CAR-T cell therapies in patients with solid tumor. He has been a member of ASCPT since August 2020.
