M. Eileen Dolan, PhD is a Professor of Medicine and Chair of the Committee on Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmacogenomics at the University of Chicago. She earned her PhD from Purdue University and her postdoctoral fellowship from Pennsylvania State College of Medicine. She also serves as Associate Director for Education within the University of Chicago Comprehensive Cancer Center. She is co-PI of a Clinical Therapeutics training grant for post-doctoral fellows interested in understanding clinical pharmacology and pharmacogenomics. In terms of research, she is a leader in identifying and functionally validating genetic variants associated with chemotherapeutic toxicity including chemotherapeutic-induced neuropathy and ototoxicity using clinical genome wide association studies. Her laboratory developed an induced pluripotent stem cell-derived neuronal cell model for functional studies of chemotherapeutic-induced peripheral neuropathy. She has been a member of ASCPT for more than a decade, served on the ASCPT Scientific Awards Selection Task Force and currently serves on the Scientific Programming Committee.
