Dr Michael Tortorici is the current Chair of the ASCPT Quantitative Pharmacology Network. He is currently Vice President, Clinical Pharmacology & Nonclinical Development at Aro Biotherapeutics in Philadelphia. Aro is creating a new class of receptor targeted genetic medicines. His group currently is responsible for development work including Clinical Pharmacology, Toxicology, Research and Clinical Bioanalytics, and Nonclinical Pharmacology. His research interests include the areas of Quantitative Pharmacology, Translational Science, quantitative approaches to Go/ No-Go decisions and impact on Probability of Success. Dr Tortorici holds a PharmD and PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, both from the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy.
