Daren J. Austin is a Theoretical Physicist by training having previously worked on phase transitions after the Big Bang. He discovered Biology late in life and, after training in Biology at Oxford University as a Wellcome Trust Senior Fellow, and 20 years at GlaxoSmithKline, he is now a Senior Fellow and Senior Director of Clinical Pharmacology. When he’s not doing hard sums, he likes to race bikes.
