Dr. Leandro F. Vendruscolo, Ph.D./Pharm.D., is currently a Staff Scientist at the National Institute on Drug Abuse, Intramural Research Program, National Institutes of Health. He earned his Ph.D. from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (Brazil), then completed potdoctoral training at Université of Bordeaux (France) and The Scripps Research Institute (California). Dr. Vendruscolo currently studies the neurobiology of addiction using preclinical models with an emphasis in opioid and alcohol addiction.
